Commissioner of the FCC responds to the Enugu APC’s suspension
Mrs. Ginika Tor, the federal commissioner for Enugu State on the Federal Character Commission (FCC), has responded to the All Progressives Congress’ (APC) decision to suspend her.
The APC’s Southeast Zone Executive Committee, led by Ijeomah Arodiogbu, just approved her suspension.

What progress have we made in Enugu State? Along with the votes from people they labeled as our leaders and expelled from the party, my team and I contributed the four thousand plus votes that the APC received in the previous election.
Tor faced allegations of egregious misbehavior, engaging in anti-party actions, and trying to establish a rival party executive in Enugu State.
Speaking on a Wednesday night TVC live broadcast that DAILY POST was watching, she insisted that the party officials who initiated and carried out the alleged suspension against her lacked the moral authority to do so and that the action was therefore void.
“Those who are giving me suspension as they put it, do not have that right,” she declared. From my perspective, it is meaningless. The explanation for this is that I never got a letter from my local ward suspending me. I never received a letter of suspension from the party or chairman of the Southeast Zone.
“I only learned about the woman’s suspension from the news, but everyone knows she’s still determined to fight for the APC.”
“I did not create any APC factional leadership in Enugu State,” she claimed in response to the accusation that she was running an APC parallel structure there. What I possessed was referred to as Rescue APC Enugu State. And in my opinion, the Enugu APC is dead. It is virtually lifeless.
We were forced to accept Ugochukwu Agballah as the chairman of the APC. He never belonged to our group. He didn’t work with us to build APC. He appeared out of nowhere and was sent to ruin the Enugu celebration. He claimed to be the party chairman and to be without a council member.
Thus, we must reclaim our party. For this reason, we require a force from which we may demand the return of our party. Thus, it is a movement rather than a factional party leadership. And I keep stressing that I have a movement structure that will help Enugu State regain control of our party.
Agballah entered the APC and shattered the organization. I was one of the leaders that helped establish the APC organization in Enugu before he drove them all out. I can prove that I voted for Ashiwaju during his campaigns in 36 states. Could they please bring their own?
“During his governorship campaign, Uchenna Nnaji, the current Enugu minister, made no mention of Ashiwaju in any of his public appearances. Ashiwaju’s image is absent from all of his posters.
Therefore, the alleged suspension is void. because I did not attend a disciplinary committee that was established. My fundamental right to a fair trial was violated by them. It’s not appropriate.
